Support for Communities

At Next-gen Foundation, we recognise that rural communities in Tzaneen face limited access to digital resources, which restricts opportunities for education, employment, and innovation. Our work is focused on breaking down these barriers by providing internet connectivity, digital training, and community-focused programs designed to uplift the next generation.

Through our partnership with Reliance Medical Group, we deliver holistic support that combines technology access with broader community well-being. We set up digital literacy labs in schools and community hubs, equipping young people with essential ICT skills, from basic computer use to coding and online safety. These programs empower youth to participate confidently in today’s digital economy and open doors to new career paths.

Beyond training, we ensure that communities have reliable internet access, enabling learners to connect with global knowledge resources and families to access vital services online. Our approach is inclusive, ensuring that girls, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and those with limited prior exposure to technology are equally supported.

By investing in digital literacy and connectivity, we not only strengthen individual opportunities but also contribute to the long-term social and economic development of rural Tzaneen. Our vision is to transform these communities into digitally empowered hubs of growth and innovation.
