Bridging the Digital Divide in Tzaneen
The digital divide remains one of the biggest challenges in rural South Africa. Many children in Tzaneen grow up without access to the internet or computers, leaving them at a disadvantage in today’s connected world. Next-gen Foundation, with support from Reliance Medical Group, is working to change this.
Through our donations of computers and digital learning equipment, we are transforming classrooms and community hubs into digital literacy centers. These labs are not just about access to technology—they are about access to opportunity. Students can now learn basic ICT skills, explore coding, and access global knowledge that was once beyond their reach.
Teachers are also benefiting, with training to incorporate digital tools into their lessons, creating more engaging and interactive learning experiences. The result is a ripple effect: better learning outcomes, improved career readiness, and stronger community development.
Each computer donated is an investment in the future of a young learner in Tzaneen. By working together, we can ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the chance to succeed in the digital age.
